Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, I went to the high school of Music and Art where I played the violin and met friends I have had for life. I graduated with an MSW in social work and worked as a clinical social worker and as an administrator in that field.
I am currently semi-retired, working for the Veterans Administration one day a week. I have two wonderful children and three grandchildren. I remain active and enjoy most outdoor activities, woodworking, musical events and the theater. I travel with friends as often as I can arrange, and am about to go on a two-week tour of ruins in Mexico with my grandson (a graduation present).
Shepherd Village attracts me because of my hope to live with neighbors who have shared interests and commitments to care for and look after each other.
